  • 1 cup premade pesto
  • 300g pasta of choice
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup pasta cooking water
  • 1 cup chorizo (sliced and halved)



  1. Heat a big pot of water and add some salt once it starts boiling.
  2. Put the pasta into the boiling water and cook it for the time recommended on the package.
  3. Right before you drain the pasta, take out one cup of the water to be used later.
  4. Pour the pasta into a colander to drain, and let it sit for a minute.
  5. In a separate bowl, transfer the pasta and mix in the pesto along with 1/4 cup of the pasta water. Stir well to cover the pasta with pesto, and add more water if needed to make the pasta smooth and saucy.
  6. Add the sliced chorizo, salt and pepper if desired.
